From "should I get one?" to a real quote, in three steps.

1

Size it to your home

We use your bill and postcode to suggest a battery that covers your evenings — not the biggest one on the shelf.

2

See a fair price

Estimates come from real installer rate cards, with the federal rebate and any state top-up already taken off.

3

Choose your installer

Compare accredited local installers side by side. You decide who gets in touch — and when.

No cold calls. No pressure. No guesswork.

Accredited installers only

Every installer is Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accredited — required to claim the rebate.

Your details stay yours

We don't sell leads to a list. Only the installer you pick sees your contact details.

Honest sizing

If a battery doesn't make sense for your home yet, we'll tell you.

Common questions

How much is the battery rebate?+

The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program gives eligible batteries a rebate based on usable capacity — full rate for the first 14kWh, tapering for larger systems — plus any state top-up where available. For a typical 10kWh battery it's currently around $2,650. Enter your postcode and size above for a specific estimate.

Does BatteryMe cost me anything?+

No. It's free to get an estimate and compare installers. You only pay the installer you choose, at the price they quote you.

Do I need solar panels already?+

No. We ask because it changes what battery makes sense for your home — homes without solar yet can still get a real installed price.

How accurate is the estimate?+

The range above is indicative, based on typical Australian installed pricing and your federal (and any state) rebate. Once you tell us more about your home, we get you a firm price from a real, participating installer's rate card — that's the number that actually holds.

The federal battery rebate factor steps down on 1 January 2027. See what changes →
