Real installed prices. Not a $/kWh guess.
Last updated 2 October 2026
BatteryMe helps Australian homeowners work out what battery system fits their home and what it will actually cost installed.
The price comes from real installers' own pricing, not an industry-average formula.
Most online battery prices are estimates.
You see a battery advertised at $X per kWh.
But the price of a real installation depends on much more than the battery itself:
- the system you choose
- your existing solar and inverter
- your home and electrical setup
- installation requirements
- where you live
- the installer's own pricing
A generic $/kWh estimate can't account for all of that.
BatteryMe can.
Installers give us their real pricing.
Accredited installers list the battery systems they install, the areas they service, their typical lead times and their installed pricing.
When you use BatteryMe, we match your requirements against that supply.
That means the price you see is based on what an actual installer has said they charge for that system.
Not an industry average.
Not a calculator guessing from a national $/kWh figure.
Not a lead-generation estimate.
You get the price first.
Tell us about your home, solar system and electricity use.
BatteryMe works out a suitable system and checks which installers can actually service the job. Where suitable supply exists, we calculate your real installed price immediately.
You can then see the matched installers and compare the options.
Price doesn't buy the lead.
Installers are matched because they fit the job, not because they bid the lowest price.
Installers don't bid against each other.
BatteryMe isn't an auction.
Installers don't see each other's pricing and aren't asked to undercut one another to win your job. They're matched on:
Location
Do they service your area?
System
Can they install the battery configuration you need?
Capacity
Do they have room for another job?
Availability
Can they install within a timeframe that works?
Price isn't used to decide who gets matched. You choose what works for you.
We review installers before they go live.
Every installer application is reviewed before it can receive BatteryMe jobs.
We check the business information, SAA accreditation, service area and pricing submitted during signup. No installer starts receiving homeowner jobs automatically.
